0870+0844 Dial lets you dial international in This service allows you to make international call to destination listed by simple dialing one of our access numbers. There is no registration needed and you can use it right away. The service works because when you dialed our numbers, your telephone operator has to pass part of the call charges to us as part of UK telecom interconnection agreement. We use the money we receive to fund calls to the listed destinations. (There is no magic about it, the reason it is expensive to call UK mobile is because your telephone company has to pay the mobile company when you ring a mobile number. A Mobile phone company use the money to fund the infrastructure, pay their staffs etc. In this case, we use the money we receive from 0870/0844/0871 numbers to fund international calls). |

Call to 0844 and 0870
numbers are charged as a
standard call and qualify for free minutes on most contract plans,
including O2 Leisure time. This gives the cheapest call possible during
off peaks.
On Pay And Go (prepaid) Original Talkalot, call cost just 2p/min in the weekends and 10p/min
in the evening. On PAYG Original call cost 5p/min
during wekeends, same as calling a normal landline.
On O2 Online Pay And Go Talkalot, call to 0844/0870 numbers are charged
at 35p/min day, 10p/min evening and 2p/min and does not follow the usual
25p for first 3 minutes and then at reduced rate

Standard call charge on
Talk XX and Everyday 50 plan.
Calls to 0870 119 0200 qualifies for suitable (peak/offpeak) free minutes allowance.
UNFORTUNATELY, if you are on newer Orange plans (connected after October 2002)
or is on Orange Your Plan, Orange to Orange Off Peak, Orange Anynetwork Off peak,
then calls to 0870 /0844 numbers are charged at 10p/min at all time.
OVP tariff is charged at the same way as the original network (as O2,
